As a prospective student, I remember wondering to myself, “I wonder if I will be bored on campus?” After all, Grove City college is a small school in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Well, let me assure you that, though GCC is small in size, it is concentrated with exciting events and activities for many different students. Here is a list of 25 excellent events that were (or will be) run on campus this school year alone:<\/p>\n

  1. 23rd Annual Winterfeast<\/strong> – A medieval five-course dinner with entertainment.<\/li>\n
  2. 2017 Create Conference<\/strong> – Speakers from places like Scarlet and Gold came on campus for a series of lectures and networking events.<\/li>\n
  3. AEX Live<\/strong> – Incredible live music performances, soft pretzels, and root beer floats.<\/li>\n
  4. The Amazing Race<\/strong> – Solve puzzles and complete the race first to win a 32 inch TV.<\/li>\n
  5. Anything Goes Performance<\/strong> – A\u00a0crazy crew of nightclub singers and hopeless romantics in Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes.”<\/li>\n
  6. All-Campus Cookout<\/strong> – Great food, music, and games on the Ketler patio with the Pan Sophic Fraternity.<\/li>\n
  7. AO Glow<\/strong> – A black-light neon paint party!<\/li>\n
  8. Bridgefest 2016<\/strong> – A concert featuring live original music from the best Grove City College musicians.<\/li>\n
  9. Chicken Patty Day –<\/strong> Buy a chicken patty. Proceeds benefit Christian Best Camps of Kenya.<\/li>\n
  10. Dancing with the Profs<\/strong> \u00a0– Vote on which professor and choreographer duo dance the best!<\/li>\n
  11. The Extravaganza<\/strong> – One of the coolest, craziest dances on campus with cheesecake and shrimp.<\/li>\n
  12. Faculty Follies<\/strong> – “The best opportunity to laugh at your professors!”<\/li>\n
  13. Fall Fest<\/strong> –\u00a0Picnic food, student music, bounce houses, food trucks, cover band, carnival games, petting zoo, volleyball tournament, and more!<\/li>\n
  14. Film Festival<\/strong> – A campus-wide film competition with cash prizes.<\/li>\n
  15. The Gala<\/strong> – The biggest dance on campus! Happens every other year.<\/li>\n
  16. The Jazz Band Dance<\/strong> – An elegant evening of live music and dancing.<\/li>\n
  17. Jon Foreman Concert<\/strong> – Switchfoot. Enough said.<\/li>\n
  18. Ladies Christmas Brunch<\/strong> – Homemade pancakes, fruit, gift baskets, and an informative pro-life talk.<\/li>\n
  19. Missions Week 2017<\/strong> – Exploring the question “why missions?” A number of missionaries featured in lectures around campus.<\/li>\n
  20. The Professor Preach-Off<\/strong> – A panel of three professors preach-off outside! Chapel credit offered.<\/li>\n
  21. Shark Tank<\/strong> – Students submit and pitch ideas to improve the campus and compete for $1,000.<\/li>\n
  22. Stories of Heart and Home<\/strong> – A cultural festival.<\/li>\n
  23. Syrian Refugee Crisis Update<\/strong> – A family who fled persecution and found a new home in PA share their story.<\/li>\n
  24. Tater Tot Day<\/strong> – Tater tots and all the toppings for just $2 to support the Ugandan Vocational Schools.<\/li>\n
  25. Whose Line Is It Anyway<\/strong> – An improv performance in the style of the show Whose Line Is It Anyway.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
