Rockin’ the Stage: How Gamma Sigma Phi Took First at All-College Sing
Grove City College’s All-College Sing is one of the most anticipated traditions on campus each year. Thie event brings together students, families, and alumni for a night of music, fun, and competition. At this year’s 68th Annual All College Sing, Gamma Sigma Phi took the stage with a lively performance of “Rockin’ Robin” and “Little Bitty Pretty One”. They delivered a show full of energy and personality. Although all of the groups gave a great performance, Gamma Sigma Phi took home first place in the sorority and overall women’s category.
From the start, Gamma Sigma Phi set out to create a performance that was both engaging and memorable. The song choices reflected that goal perfectly. “Rockin’ Robin” brought a playful and upbeat rhythm. “Little Bitty Pretty One” added a nostalgic and high-energy element that kept the audience engaged. Together, the songs created a performance that was both entertaining and clean, allowing the group to showcase not only their vocal ability but also their stage presence.
However, the success seen on stage did not come easily. Behind the performance were weeks of preparation, long rehearsals, and a strong commitment from every member involved. Practices were filled with repetition, attention to detail, and constant improvement. The group focused on timing, harmonies, and choreography. Each practice brought the group closer together as the routine was perfected.

Keira Whipple ’28 was the lead Greek Sing Chair, with Jocelyn Davis ’29 as Assistant Choreographer. The Gamma Sigs were accompanied by Jedidiah Hart ’26 on the piano and Sam Funches ’27 on box drum. Whipple and Davis helped lead the energy on stage and set the tone for the rest of the group.

From the opening notes to the final pose, it was clear that Gamma Sigma Phi had given it their all.
After all performances concluded, everyone in the room held their breath as the results were announced. Theta Alpha Pi placed third, Gamma Chi came in second, and Gamma Sigma Phi secured first. The girls were ecstatic; they celebrated with cheers and hugs. A sense of accomplishment was felt that reflected all the hard work they had put in leading up to that moment. It was a victory that meant more than just a title, it was a reflection of teamwork, dedication, and shared effort.
Looking back, this win represents more than a successful performance. It highlights the strength of the sisterhood within Gamma Sigma Phi Sorority and the impact of working toward a common goal.
